You call or enquire

We answer. Not a call centre - Zac or Jacksen. We'll have a straight conversation about what you need and whether a site visit makes sense.

We assess your home

We come to you. We measure the space, check the insulation, look at the ceiling cavity, and think through airflow before we recommend anything.

You get a fixed quote

We send you a detailed, fixed quote, usually same or next day. Everything is itemised. No provisional amounts. No "subject to change on the day."

We install it properly

Zac and Jacksen carry out the install. Drop cloths go down. Your home stays tidy. We don't leave until the system is running and you know how to use it.

We follow up

A few days after the job, we check in. If something isn't right, we come back. That's what a warranty means in practice.

  • How much does a ducted air conditioning install cost in Canberra?

    It varies based on your home's size, layout, ceiling access, and the brand you choose. Most standard residential installs start from around $8,000 to $12,000. Larger or more complex homes will cost more. We give you a fixed, itemised quote after an in-home assessment, so the price we quote is the price you pay.

  • Do I need a licensed tradesperson for air conditioning work?

    Yes. Anyone working with refrigerants in Australia must hold an ARC licence. Jacksen holds an ACT Refrigeration Licence 20201729 and Canberra Climate Control is ARC Tick certified (1136 199). If a tradesperson can't show you these credentials, don't hire them.

  • How do you make sure the system is the right size for my home?

    We measure every room and look at insulation, sun exposure, ceiling height, and window placement before we recommend anything. We don't install undersized systems, even if a customer has already bought their own unit. An undersized system never performs properly. 

  • What warranty do I get?

    You get two warranties. The manufacturer's warranty covers the unit itself, usually five years for major brands. Our installation warranty covers our workmanship: formal 5-year installation warranty (when part of our yearly maintenance plan). We explain both clearly at handover.

  • Do you service brands you didn't install?

    Yes. We service and repair most major brands regardless of who installed them. If it's something outside our scope, we'll tell you. 

  • Are you fully insured?

    Yes. We hold current Public Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation Insurance through Allinsure. Both are available on request.

  • Will the owners actually do the work, or will you send someone else?

    Zac and Jacksen do the work. That's the model. We don't subcontract our installs. The people who quote your job are the specialists who install it.
